In 2019-2020, Shri Pradip and Daksha Dalal Family Endowment fund was created with their donation of Rs. 77 Lakhs (US $ 1, 00, 000/-) for scholarships for engineering students. Four students were given scholarships of Rs. 25,000/- each in the year 2020-2021 under this scholarship fund. This scholarship is renewable for them in the remaining 3 years also.

As a part of programmes to achieve the objectives, DDUAA is giving merit cum means scholarships to the deserving students. It is decided to establish “DDU Alumni Association Scholarship Fund” so as to make the scheme self sustaining through donation from individuals and organizations. We are happy to announce that ex-students of DDU, number of individuals and organizations have extended tremendous positive response for the generous donation to award “Merit Cum Means Scholarship” to deserving students and we expect many more to follow the same. So, we are taking this opportunity to place our kind request in front of individuals and organizations to come forward and support the noble cause of “Vidya Dan”. Your support to the deserving students will help them in changing their life and thus you will be contributing in giving them a bright future. This endowment fund establishes 25 Lakh Rupees for the Financial Aid. Every year, the interest earned will be used for financial aid to the students who have lost the main income earner or the main income earner's earning is severely reduced due to a serious medical condition. The aid may vary from Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 5,000 based on the interest income and number of applicants. If students meet the requirements, they will continue receiving the Financial Aid for the remaining years.
